We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate goal of satisfying our customers and handling all matters swiftly and fairly. As a family business our philosophy has always been to treat our clients, with courtesy and care. A happy client is a returning client.
Can I Make a Return?
Yes, you can. However, there are certain exceptions for items that can be returned we address this below. Items that are deemed returnable must be made within 14 days of issuance of goods i.e..: collection or delivery. The customer bears the responsibility of returning the item with care, and at their own cost. We do not refund your cost for hire of transport.
What Goods Aren’t Applicable?
Customized Goods - Varma Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. supplies an array of colors. A client is likely to choose a color from these paint selections based on their personal preference. Items such as metal roofing, guttering, flashings, drip edge, ridge cap, etc. are then manufactured in the client’s preferred color. Moreover, these items are further customized when the customer indicates a preferred length and dimension [where applicable]. Due to these many permutations of customizations, we cannot refund your purchase.
Seconds [i.e: reject items]. Once you have purchased these items, they are final sale. Not subject to return nor refund.
We reserve the right, to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the standards of resale, our return conditions, etc. this is at our sole discretion.
Is There a Restocking Fee?
A 15.0% restocking fee is applied to stock-goods that are deemed for returned. This fee is to cover the cost of inspecting, repacking, etc.
What Do I Need to Return These Goods?
Your original, physical bill and I.D. is required for all returns. Only the named person on the bill can claim a return.
What Other Fees Are Applied?
In cases where the customer pays by cheque or bank card, a transfer fee may apply.
