The fascia eave flashing is used to cover the eave end of the roof. It can be designed (shaped) in a variety of ways depend on the type of roof finish you're trying to achieve. Its is normally attached to the eave end of the roof before the roofing sheets are place.
The face of eave flashing normally starts at 10 inches and above. This allows for guttering to be attached along the face of the flashing if home owners so choose.
If attaching under-ceiling, a two lip is bent at a 90 degree angle towards the house at the bottom end of the flashing. This allows for the under-ceiling to be attached to it. If an under-ceiling isn't being attached, its highly recommended to have a 1/2 inch lip bent at at 135 degrees to allow for water run off away from the building.

The gable end flashing is used to cover the gable side of the roof. It can be designed (shaped) in a variety of ways depend on the type of roof finish you're trying to achieve. Once the roof is in place, the gable end flashing is attached.
Typically, the top end of the gable flashing must be bent as to be fitted over at least one ridge of the roof. This creates an impermeable barrier which prevents water from affecting the underlying areas below the flashing.

The ridgecap can either come with a 1 inch fold on either end where that fold can be cut and used as a barrier to prevent water or other foreign substances from entering under the cap.
